Bradyarrhythmias in Children
Bradyarrhythmias (Bradycardia) are slower than normal heart rhythms (normal conduction system) and occur when the electrical impulse does not originate in the sinoatrial (SA) node, or when the electrical impulse travels too slowly from the SA node to the ventricles. In most cases, bradyarrhythmias do not require treatment or complications. In some patients more severe bradyarrhythmias treatment may be required. It is important to talk to your health care team if your child has symptoms of bradyarrhythmias.
