Whether you have 1) been recently diagnosed with AFib, 2) have been managing your condition for some time, or 3) are a caregiver for an AFib patient, you may have some questions for your doctor... or you may not even know what questions to ask!
UpBeat is pleased to provide this interactive resource to highlight the vital roles patients and caregivers can play as part of their healthcare teams. Introducing UpBeat's AFib Question Builder tool, designed to help you prepare for upcoming medical appointments and optimize your time with your doctor.
Using the question builder tool is easy — follow these directions:
- There are four categories of pre-populated questions: General, Treatment, Medication, and Lifestyle. Tick the boxes of the questions you'd like to include in your custom downloadable PDF.
- If you have any additional questions within these four categories (e.g., "Is it okay to ride my jet ski when I'm on blood thinners?"), enter them in the Custom Questions text box, then click + to the right of the text box. You can delete custom questions at any time by clicking the - to the right of the custom question.
- There are two ways to receive your custom AFib question list. Download your questions as a PDF, or email your questions by providing your email address.
